Reboot8 wrap up [6. Jun, 10:08]
Last week I've attended Reboot8 together with my colleagues Matthias & Michael. To keep the long story short - it was fantastic!

Arriving on Wednesday I wanted to join the boat ride first, but then decided to join Bill Liao and Daniela Waschow (from OpenBC), Bruno Guissani (who wrote almost everything about reboot8, see, 1,2,3,4,5) he's a great guy and gave an interesting speech on blogs and magazines by himself), the nice guys from CoComment (Laurent, Nicolas, and the others), Lyssa, Martin Röll, Nicole Simon, Oliver Gassner and many others. We had a great dinner - thanx to Bill!

Next day started pretty intensive... I attended Sociology ABC from Adam Arvidsson - not easy to follow and I couldn't agree with everything I heard. Then I've been at Co-Creation Rules one of the best workshops I ever attended. Applause to James Cherkoff and Johnnie Moore.

Bit Literacy from Mark Hurst and his new service GooToDo was also great - you got a new customer Mark!

The speech on "Building profitable OSS businesses" was especially interesting for us. Interesting but modelwise limited to the special case presented (to my mind).

The rest of the 1st day I was busy with networking and talking to extremely interesting people like Ibrahim Evsan from sevenload, Loic LeMeur and many others...

Unforgettable and fantastic was the dinner speach of Ben Hammersley on How to be a Renaissance Man. Much better than the one at LesBlogs2.0 to my mind!

Afterwoods checkin out Copenhagen nightlife together with friends like Helge, Nico Lumma and Peter. Btw. Austria was beatin up Germany in tablesoccer ;-)

Unfortunately I had not enough time on the 2nd day to attend everything I wanted and had to leave early - but as far as I heard Matthias did good on presenting Blogr.com

All in all - Copenhagen is cool and Reboot is even cooler. Thanx to Thomas for doing a great job and CU all in one year from now again...
