First you have to get a recent antville application from CVS (as from monday, 26.04.2004). Then you have to patch it with the module patch. This extension is responsible for managing and installing modules.
After you did that, it should be very easy to install the BetterEditor Module.
- Download Better Editor v0.5
- Go to your antville installation.
- Go to the Modules Manager
- Click "import module"
- Upload the BetterEditorV05.zip from your local disc
- Click on "reload modules"
(now you should see the newly installed BetterEditor module in the list)
- Click in "initialize"
- Click on "done" to install the module
(the BetterEditor will add some images to the default layout = antville.org - layout)
- On the next screen you have to activate the module
Before a site owner may use the module you have to activate it.
- Go to a site on your installation
- Go to the sites Module Manager
- Go to the preferences of theBetter Editor module
- Switch from "textarea" to "BetterEditor"
- Create, or edit a story
